Brenton “Brent” Perkins, a Springfield, Ohio native has been working in the capacity of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Rocking Horse Community Health Center since August 2020. Brent has attended Clark State Community College, Ohio University and Walden University and has previously been employed in long term acute care and intensive care unit positions. Professionally, Brent’s interest are Mental Wellness and other “invisible illnesses” including hypertension and diabetes. Personally, Brent enjoys, rehabbing projects, construction, golfing, exercising and walking with his wife and 3 dachshunds. Instilling hope and motivation, educating patients, vaccinations and our Substance Use Disorder Department are the most enjoyable aspects of Brent’s work at Rocking Horse Community Health Center.
