Psychiatry Services

The Psychiatry Department is staffed by four Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) along with nurses and Medical Assistants. It provides medication management for most Mental Health diagnoses to include: Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders along with a variety of less common Mental Health conditions.

All ages are served, from children to youth and adolescents to adults well into their senior years. Therapy referrals are regularly offered. Medication Assisted Therapy for Substance Use Disorders is also offered. Appointments are available in person or via tele-health from both the London and Springfield locations.

The Psychiatry Service seeks to serve everyone with dignity and respect, taking the patient/guardians perspective into consideration. Full recovery is the goal.
