Joined our Behavioral Health Team in September of 2024 as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Joanna earned her RN, BSN, and MSN-PMHNP. Prior to joining RHCHC, Joann worked at Nort Community Counseling Center and Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Joanna currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. Professionally, Joanna’s interests are patient-center, holistic and collaborative approaches to care and mental health education and advocacy. Joanna’s personal interest are to increase awareness in the community about Mental Health and to build communication and relationships that can help patients with personal development. Joanna’s opportunity to give a patient life changing support is her most enjoyable aspect of the work she does at RHCHC.
