Rebecca McCarthy is a member of our Behavioral Health team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Rebecca received her Registered Nursing degree from Sinclair College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University and her Master of Science in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University. Prior to working at Rocking Horse Community Health Center, she worked at Miami Valley Hospital. Rebecca is originally from California’s Central Coast but currently resides in Xenia, Ohio. Rebecca’s professional interest include working with children and adolescents to improve mental health and daily functioning. Rebecca’s personal interest are hiking, camping, sand volleyball, reading, collecting miniatures, Disney-adulting. Rebecca stated the most enjoyable aspect of her work at Rocking Horse Community Health Center is helping kids and families see their coping skills and quality of life improve by education and treatment.
