Rachel Litteral is a Nurse Practitioner that has been with The Rocking Horse Center since 2022 and is our Heath Bus Provider. She sees newborns upward to geriatric-aged patients and has a 20-year nursing history prior to gaining the FNP certification. She earned the Master of Nursing Degree with a focus of Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021. Prior to joining The Rocking Horse, she worked at a local Urgent Care and at Caresource. Rachel’s professional interests are educating patients to empower them to improve their health and lives. She specifically enjoys educating patients on managing their diabetes and women’s health issues. She sites The Rocking Horse’s mission of caring for the underserved as a deciding factor for joining the organization. For fun, Rachel enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and music. Rachel stated the most enjoyable aspect of working at Rocking Horse Community Health Center is the patient centered care.
