Katy joined our team as a Family Nurse Practitioner in September 2023.  Katy earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Clark State College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ohio University and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to working at Rocking Horse Community Health Center Katy was employed at Miami Valley Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit.  She was born and raised in Clark County, Ohio and currently resides in North Hampton.  Professionally Katy is interested in health promotion through education, prevention and utilization of resources, and being a true healthcare home for patients. Personally, Katy enjoys spending time with family, her 3 children, gardening, reading and cooking.  Katy said the most enjoyable aspect of her job is serving the community that she has lived in her entire life and the variety her job brings to her daily.
