Social Services

Rocking Horse Community Health Center provides social services and outreach for our patients and their families. In addition to accepting donations of gently used clothing, books and coats, Rocking Horse also works with the community to provide extra gifts for our pediatric patients over the holidays’ through our Angel Tree program and school supplies for our pediatric patients through the Back to School Drive.

In addition to our outreach programming, Rocking Horse also provides:

Patient Financial Advocate

Rocking Horse Communiity Health Center staffs a Patient Financial Advocate to assist patients with payment options and other resources.

Outreach & Enrollment Specialist

Insurance options and Medicaid assitance are provided through an Outreach & Enrollment Specialist at both the Rocking Horse Community Health Center Springfield and Madison locations.  

Medicaid Assistance

Job & Family Services of Clark County in collaboration with Rocking Horse Community Health Center provides Medicaid Caseworkers on site to meet with patients to determine eligibility for Medicaid through the state of Ohio.     

Case Management 

Rocking Horse Community Health Center provides case management services to patients as needed.

Rocking Horse to fill gap, serve Clark County kids with no dental care

Rocking Horse Community Health Center intends to open a wing at its South Limestone Street center in September to offer dental care predominately to local children.
